CAREER
Other Professional Experience: Selected to play in the 2012 NLL All-Star Game… Played for the Edmonton Rush in 2012… Played indoor pro lacrosse in 2011 with the Boston Blazers… Named to the NLL All-Rookie Team… Was the Blazers first-round selection (second overall) in the 2010 National Lacrosse League Entry Draft.
College/Amateur: Was dominant in his senior season at Dowling College, earning 2010 First Team All-American and All-Conference honors… He would help lead his team to 12-2 record while earning upsets over nationally ranked teams along the way… His contributions in an 8-7 win over National Champions C.W. Post University in April would also earn him Nike/Inside Lacrosse Player of the Week recognitions.
Canadian Box Lacrosse: Won a gold medal with Team Canada at the 2011 FIL World Indoor Lacrosse Championships… Named to the All-World Team as one of the top two defensemen… Plays for the Senior “A” Brampton Excelsiors in the MSL… In 2010 with the Excelsiors, he helped the team reach the league finals… Played for the Junior “A” Brampton Excelsiors… In 2009, he was named the OLA Junior “A” Playoff MVP, Defensive MVP, and was a First Team OLA All-Star… He was also named the Junior “A” Defensive Player of the Year and First Team All-Canadian by the National Lacrosse League Insider… He led the Excelsiors to within one game of winning the Minto Cup, falling two games to one in a best of three series… He would eventually go on to win the Ken Giles Award, an honor given to the top amateur athlete in his hometown of Brampton, awarded by the Brampton Guardian newspaper.
