Won silver with Team USA at the 2006 World Field Lacrosse Championships in London, Ontario… One of Syracuse's best players of all-time… Powell was a four-time All-American and a two-time National Player of the Year at Syracuse... He helped SU to the 1995 NCAA National Championship and was recognized as a four-time member of the NCAA All-Tournament team… Division I Attackman of the Year in 1998… Casey is tied for second all-time in points at SU with his brother Ryan… Casey amassed 287 points (158+129) for the Orange over four seasons (1994-98)… He was named to Lacrosse Magazine’s All-Century Team.
Other Professional Experience: Completed his ninth season in the National Lacrosse League in 2011… In 119 games, he has 254 goals and 341 assists for 595 points… He is a six-time All-Pro and became the first American to win the league’s MVP award in 2010… Played with the Boston Blazers during the 2011 season… Was a member of the New York/Orlando Titans from 2007-10… He spent the 2003-04 and 2005 National Lacrosse League seasons with the Anaheim Storm… Powell played in Rochester for the Knighthawks during the 1999 and 2000 seasons, posting 21 goals and 37 assists for 58 points in 19 games… Powell was originally the first overall pick of the Rochester Knighthawks of the National Lacrosse League in 1999.
