CAREER
College/Amateur: Dudley captained the men's lacrosse team as a senior, guiding the program to its ninth consecutive Ivy League title… He helped the squad to a pair of Final Fours during his career... In 2011, he saw a significant increase in playing time during his senior season, making the move to the Big Red's first offensive midfield and the senior captain posted a career-high 12 goals and three assists... A hard worker and talented two-way player, he also picked up 18 ground balls on the season… Played in the North-South All-Star Game… Earned the 2011 J.E.B. Sportsmanship Award for combining the qualities of lacrosse ability, leadership, fairness, courteous relations and graceful acceptance of results on and off the playing field… He also earned Cornell’s Al "Junior" Kelz - Mike Herriott Award as the team's outstanding senior player… More impressive was his selection as one of the university’s Mario St. George Boiardi '04 Leadership Award winners for most embodying leadership, athleticism and a strong work ethic… He became an everyday contributor during his junior season (2010), playing in all 18 games and making two starts on the offensive midfield… He registered four goals and chipped in three assists on the season... In 2010, he was awarded the team's “Hard Hat,” which is given to a junior that the coaching staff feels demonstrates a blue-collar approach to the game of lacrosse… At Boys’ Latin School, he was a two-year letter winner at Boys’ Latin School, Dudley finished the 2007 season as a US Lacrosse Academic All-American, a first-team All-Towson Times selection and a Bratton Cup Maryland All-Star… He earned his school’s C. Markland Kelly Jr. Athletic Service Award for leadership, scholarship, teamwork and sportsmanship… In 2006, Dudley helped Boys’ Latin to a 21-0 record and a high school national championship… He was valedictorian of his class.
Personal: Graduated from Cornell’s School of Industrial and Labor Relations… He was a two-year committee chair for the team's 21 Run that raises money each year for the Family Reading Partnership of Ithaca as it works towards its mission to promote children's literacy in the Ithaca community… Was the co-coordinator of the Save the Day 3-on-3 Youth Lacrosse Tournament that raised over $2,000 for the Dream Factory of Central New York, an organization that raises money to grant the wishes of chronically and critically ill children. |
