(Hamilton, April 14)… The Steel City’s newest professional sports franchise will hold auditions for the cheerleading team on Saturday, April 23rd from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. The Hamilton Nationals are encouraging women 18 years and older to visit PURE ENERGY PERFORMANCE, INC. (at 209 Limeridge Road East) to compete for the most exciting cheerleading team in Major League Lacrosse.
Cheerleading team members should possess a positive attitude, dedication, an eagerness to work hard and have fun, and an outgoing personality. All participants are required to bring a photo ID, bottled water and an audition registration form. The Nationals open their season on the road on Saturday, May 14th against the Denver Outlaws at 9:00 p.m. Hamilton plays its home opener on Thursday, May 19th at Les Prince Field at Ron Joyce Stadium on the grounds of McMaster University. The 7:30 p.m. contest features the defending MLL Champion Chesapeake Bayhawks.
