(Hamilton, November 18)… Hamilton Nationals and former Syracuse University star Cody Jamieson will now be a guest Tuesday, November 21st at 1:00 p.m. on “Midday with Mike Lindsley” in Syracuse, NY. Fans can tune into The Score 1260-AM or go online to thescore1260.com to listen to the interview.
Jamieson, who lives on Six Nations, completed his second season with the Hamilton Nationals. This summer, the 24-year-old attackman was third on the team with 26 points (16+10) in 11 games. In the postseason, he was tied for second on the team in points (2+1), as the Nats advanced to the MLL Finals. The Nationals finished the regular season with a franchise-record seven wins, which was good enough for a second-place tie with the Denver Outlaws.
In May, he was named to the All-World Team and the top Transition Player at the 2011 FIL World Indoor Lacrosse Championships. Jamieson earned the honors after scoring 16 goals and collecting six assists for the silver-medal winning Iroquois.
Jamieson is currently preparing for his second season with the Rochester Knighthawks. Last season, the No. 1 overall pick was named to the NLL All-Rookie Team. Jamieson finished second in NLL Rookie of the Year voting, as he led all NLL rookies with 53 points and finished first on the Knighthawks with 28 goals. He also represented the Knighthawks at the 2011 NLL All-Star Game.
