OWN A BEAR FROM YOUR FAVORITE PLAYER
3/29/12 12:00 AM
Fans of the Hamilton Nationals can own a piece of memorabilia from one of their favorite players. Cody Jamieson, Sid Smith, Jarrett Davis, Stephen Keogh, Jordan Hall and Joe Walters made bears to benefit CURE Childhood Cancer Association.
The bears are available as part of the Rochester Knighthawks’ Annual Teddy Bear Auction. GoBuyRochester.com will host the auction, which ends on Monday, April 2nd at midnight. Players designed, named, and autographed their bear or animal, complete with accessories. Even Nationals Owner Curt Styres, who also serves as the owner and general manager of the Knighthawks, made an animal for the auction. Other bears were made by members of the Rochester Knighthawks, including 19-year-old rookie Johnny Powless. For more Information on the auctions is accessible at

Hamilton makes its home debut on Friday, May 18th with an 11:00 a.m. contest against the Chesapeake Bayhawks at Ron Joyce Stadium at McMaster University.
